On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Romanian Society of Pure and Applied Biophysics, we welcome you to the Radiobiology Satellite Meeting which will be held at Extreme Light Infrastructure – Nuclear Physics (ELI-NP), Măgurele-Bucharest, September 10th, 2018.

It is a great honour and privilege for us to host this Workshop on Radiobiology focused on Mechanisms and Applications of Ionizing Radiation Effects on Biological Matter which is organized in the frame of the 15th National Conference of Biophysics with international participation. A major goal of this Radiobiology Satellite Meeting is to strengthen collaboration among scientists and clinicians in the field of radiation research.

We would like to express our thanks to all the European and Romanian Colleagues for their contribution to this meeting. We really believe that this exceptional meeting will promote starting collaboration in new challenging projects.
